Science day march, what did we miss…?

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back. So the old bamboozle tend to persist as the new one rise.”

My take:

The biggest problem we have at this point in time is to distinguish between fact and fiction and even more important the mixture of the two.

I’ve wrote an article some time ago about it called “Fact Fiction and BS“.

The article is even more important today than it was when I wrote it and I’ll bet its importance will grow exponentially in the future.
But hey, who really cares?
(you should,… though probably almost no one will read this, ever…)
